7 Products I’m Loving: July Must haves
I don’t know about you, but I love seeing and hearing about products other people genuinely love and use. So I thought I would share 7 products I’m loving this month! Most of these are summer essentials that are helping me survive my first Georgia summer.
Top 7 Products I’m Loving this month
Tula Skincare protect + glow daily sunscreen
First off, we really should be wearing sunscreen AT LEAST on our faces daily, throughout the whole year, not just during the summer. But this is a new product from Tula this spring/summer, and I’m here for it! It’s light and breathable, not sticky, and gives a very subtle glow/shimmer. It’s truly perfect to wear under makeup or by itself. It offers UVA + UVB protection plus protects the sensitive face skin from environmental pollutants and blue light.
Roll up Straw Sun Visor
While we’re talking about protecting our faces from the sun, let me tell you about my new favorite sun hat! This visor is perfect for me! I love a cute straw hat, but when I’m out at the pool/beach I want to put my hair up on my head to get it off the back of my neck. But I also want to shield my face from the sun! Dilemma, dilemma, dilemma. Not any more. Now I get to wear my messy bun and my straw sun hat! Plus it rolls up for easy packing. That’s a win, win, win in my book!
Lavaderm After Sun Spray
I try to be really good and careful with my sunscreen application and reapplication. But, things happen and I tend to overestimate my sun tolerance. This after sun spray has been a game changer for me! I really, really wish I had had it back in June when I got sun poisoning. I think it REALLY would have helped minimize the severity and length of my sunburn. I have it now though and use it every time I come in from spending time out in the sun! It’s also AMAZING for bug bite itch!! I’m basically a walking mosquito feeder, bug spray or not, so I tend to get A LOT of itchy bites. And I have found that applying this lotion to mosquito bites, completely takes the itch away!
Minnidip Inflatable Pool
This has been another summer game changer! These pools are so popular there is a waiting list for restocks. I finally got mine the beginning of July, and it was worth the wait!! These super cute inflatable backyard mini pools were actually designed specifically for adults. They don’t take long to set up and are pretty easy to transport if you want to take your pool over to your friend’s backyard for a change of scenery. AND they are doing restocks throughout the month of August!! So go, now, and sign up to be notified about the restock dates!
LaurenMackenzieDecals Starbucks Customized Cold Cup
Ok, I may or may not have 6 of these personalized cold cups now……I have a slight obsession. I rarely actually use them for coffee though. But I drink my water from them all day, every day, cause they’re so darn cute! And staying well hydrated is especially important during the summer.
Aerie Camp Short
I’m normally not a shorts wearing person. I really don’t like them. But it is HOT and HUMID here is southwest Georgia! So, I wear shorts now. And these are actually super duper comfortable, even just to hangout around the house in. I have them in 3 colors….
Schick Silk Touch-Up Razors
Ok, theses aren’t a summer survival tool, but really for year round personal maintenance. I started using these about 3-4 months ago to shave the peach fuzz and dead skin from my face…I think the technical term is dermaplaning. I was super nervous about ending up with a man beard/mustache, but have had great results so far. My face peach fuzz hasn’t grown back thicker or darker at all! I’ve been dermaplaning every 3-4 weeks. It’s easy, quick, and painless. And my makeup looks awesome the first few days after!
What are some of your summer must have items??
XOXO stay well and enjoy the sun and warm weather, friends!
